About the Firm

Wink Architecture is a small architecture firm seeking to provide simple yet insightful design solutions to improve people’s lives, livelihoods, and environments. From single family residential and multifamily developments to retail and other commercial projects, Wink Architecture understands that many clients already have their own vision for a project, but may need assistance bringing that vision into the built world. Wink Architecture can also help navigate complex permitting scenarios, manage historic tax credit processes, create intricate three dimensional BIM/Revit models and guide environmentally responsible approaches to projects.

Wink Architecture is now a certified Evaluator for the Fortified Homes program.

 

About Wink

Daniel  Winkert (“Wink”) was born in New Orleans when he was eighteen. Having grown up in Maryland, Wink migrated to the swamps of Louisiana to study Architecture at Tulane University and has made the city his home since 1986. For over 30 years Wink has practiced in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. With a passion for community involvement and celebrating New Orleans culture and history, Wink embraces the spirit of the city and works in any way he can to participate in its upkeep and continual transformation.
